EVEN END
CultureWorks Institute for Creative Arts
Works by Ann Chuchvara, Maureen Nollette, Tori Pelz, Miriam Slager, and Mandy Cano Villalobos
June 21- August 22, 2014

Repetition, minimalist abstraction, and transformation of humble, fragile materials unite these works. Each in its own way, these works mark the tenuous passage of time. The show appropriately opens on the vernal equinox, a seasonal shift when the tilt of the Earth’s axis is inclined neither away from nor towards the Sun.
